Our 5-tier verification pipeline checks local cache, Utah Courts directly, CourtListener, Caselaw Access Project, and multi-source commission verification.

Green flags indicate verified, sound arguments with valid citations. Yellow flags suggest items that need review - arguable inferences or unrecognized citations. Red flags indicate problems like logic errors or non-sequiturs. Black flags are critical issues including fabricated citations, fiction, or cases that don't support the stated proposition.

Yes. All documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Each silo has its own encryption key. Data is stored on secure, compliant infrastructure. We use parameterized queries to prevent SQL injection, implement strict Content Security Policy headers, and never share your data with third parties. Session tokens are hashed with SHA-256.

Both include all five base tools (Consigliere, Drafter, Fixer, Auditor, Preprocessor) and full citation verification. BenchSlap PRO uses premium language models for higher quality output and includes four additional tools: Strategist (quick case strength analysis), Advisor (deep 4-layer analysis with A4 Advocacy Analytics), Commission Inquest (proprietary analytical framework), and Linked Silos for connecting related cases. Basic Bench uses free-tier models that are still highly capable.

Without an account, you can try the briefing auditor demo on the landing page — up to 10 audits per hour. Creating a free account gives you access to all five base tools with no hourly limits on document auditing within your silos. The demo limit only applies to anonymous usage.

Yes. Silos support multiple access levels including owner, editor, and viewer permissions. You can invite colleagues by email to collaborate on a case. Access is managed through the silo settings.

No. BenchSlap is a legal intelligence tool that verifies citations and assists with document preparation. It is not a substitute for professional legal judgment. All output should be reviewed by a licensed attorney before filing. BenchSlap is created by Richard Sanders (Utah Bar #15728) but is independently operated and not endorsed by the Utah State Bar.
